Adult Ministries

Wanting to Connect with Other Believers?

Here are some Ways:

“Dinner for Eight”, adult fellowship groups starting soon!Dinner for Eight” will be a time to fellowship with individuals in our church body over a meal in a pot-luck style format, that will meet once a month for three months with the same people in each group.  Each dinner meeting will last 1 1/2  to 1 3/4 hrs, and will include the meal, time for interaction around a question or two, and prayer. We are looking for individuals to sign-up to host these groups and then once those individuals have been identified, there will be a 1 hour training to help us get started. Our intent is to begin to build a deeper level of community, where people can encourage each other in their spiritual walk.Hebrews 10:24-25.  “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, and let us not give up meeting together as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another– and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
If you would like to get more information about this wonderful fellowship opportunity, please call the office at 854-2452.

Adult Sunday school class starts at 9:30 a.m. Sunday morning. Prayer time before Sunday School classes starts at 9:15 in the church office; you are invited to come pray with us!

Interim Pastor Rick Reitz is leading the adult Sunday School class through the study “Believe” by Randy Frazee which addresses the heart of the Christian life and the desire to think, act, and be more like Jesus. The study is geared for the whole family to help deepen our walk with Jesus and challenge us to better understand what “we believe and why”. On Sunday, July 18th the class will watch the video session  titled “Compassion” and discussed the chapter afterwards. The sessions do not build on each other so if you miss one you will not be out of the loop.
Nursery is available for children ages 0-4 during the Sunday school hour. If you want to check out the trailer below for a better idea of what this study will entail, please click on the trailer below. We hope you can join us!
